Join NAMI Metro Baltimore and the Mental Health Association of Maryland’s Mental Health Players for an interactive role play addressing Stigma, Co-Occurring Disorders, and Depression.
For over 20 years the Mental Health Players have brought interactive performances to audiences across Maryland. The Players will portray characters addressing situations that may be familiar to the audience and also help bring delicate issues to the fore. These issues are then discussed with audience members with the help of a moderator, while the Players stay in their character roles. It has proved to be an effective tool in helping people feel understood; bridging gaps in thinking and educating participants about helpful resources available in their communities.
